Collonges-la-Rouge is a tiny little town in Corrèze department in France. It is a medieval village dating back to the 8th century. Part of “The most beautiful old villages of France” club, it is famous for its buildings made of sandstone.
Collonges was part of our stops during our latest tour of France. We took a walk along its old streets, where everything is magically red-painted by the sun and the sandstone…we visited at sunset, when the sun rays created a stunning mix of light and shadow!
