Fresh zucchini right from the garden for lunch…what can we make with them? …zucchini sauce!
This very-easy sauce is terrifically perfect on pasta to delight your summer lunches!
Ingredients
2 zucchini
1 clove of garlic
1/2 chopped onion
EV olive oil
salt
black pepper
2 leaves of fresh basil
Procedure
Sauté garlic and onion in a frying pan with olive oil. Once they’re golden coloured, add chopped zucchini and salt. Cook for about 10 minutes.
Put everything in a blender and add a pinch of black pepper and the basil leaves. Blend and add a couple of spoons of water if you find the cream is too thick.
We put the cream on our pasta, adding roasted sesame seeds…
…and that’s it! Enjoy!
