You cannot say you really know a person after you’ve talked to them for a few hours, right? Well, we do believe it’s the same with countries: you cannot say you visited France if you’ve just seen Paris!
A country has different regions, with traditions and celebrations that usually differ from one another. That’s the main reason why, any time we can, we travel by car. Following “thematic” trails, driving through countrysides, stopping by teeny tiny villages along the way, taking part in local celebrations…all that makes travelling an authentic experience!
Maybe not many of you would decide to visit a minuscule town inhabited by no more than seventy villagers. Even though, when you travel, every place can hide something incredible to see…like the little hamlet of Apremont-sur-Allier! It is a medieval village situated in Cher department, in Centre-Val de Loire region.

If you decide to visit Apremont, after the beautiful stroll along the river, you can visit the botanical garden and museum of horse and buggy (opening dates: from April 1st to October 1st; opening hours: 10:30-12:30/2:00-6:30 pm; ticket price: €10).
