La Bambouseraie in Anduze (in Gard region) is a tiny gem nestled between the Cévennes chain and the Gardon valley. The park owes its birth to a man, Eugène Mazel, very passionate about natural science, who started growing plants coming from China, Japan, Northern America, Himalaya… Nègre family has been taking care of the park since 1902, growing more species and opening it to the public.

Sequoias, palm tress, bamboo forests, bonsai and lotus, water streams… enjoy a little anticipation in our gallery:

If you’re visiting with kids, do not miss the experience of the maze, it’s a lot of fun!
