Emotions running “high”: welcome to Terra restaurant!

If you take the road to reach Auener Hof Relais on a clear sky night, it seems like the high trees along the way can touch the stars. It couldn’t be otherwise: we’re heading the highest Michelin-star restaurant in Italy! The narrow road ends right in the parking lot of the hotel, which is the only light source around. The silence that surrounds us is magical.

The dining room of  Terra restaurant is simply part of the nature we’re surrounded by: huge windows, long trunks that adorn the columns…we’re about to dine in the woods!

The flavours, the aromas, the food presentation: everything is perfectly balanced, everything is extraordinarily mixed so that your palate can taste each single ingredient, finely combined with all the others to create the perfect bite! In Heinrich Schneider‘s restaurant eating a gnocco is (literally!) an explosion of flavours for your taste buds!

What’s even more striking? The kindness of such creative and talented food artists! Heinrich Schneider welcomed us in his kitchen and answered all our questions about his plates with the greatest kindness! As the majority of chefs we met, he communicated the passion and love for what he creates…and he also took a photo with us!
